SAMARA RAYANNE HAYES

It is with great sorrow that the family of Samantha Rayanne Hayes announce her peaceful passing on Sunday, April 18, 2004.
Samara was born May 15, 1997 to Corey and Susan Hayes in Thunder Bay, Ont. She was the second of five children.
Samara loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandparents and Great-Grandpa Baxter. Samara was attending the North Star Community School in Atikokan, Ont., and looked forward to going each day with her many close friends and extra special friend, Darlene.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church and enjoyed her time there. Samara also enjoyed listening to music, at home, with friends, and at church.
Through Samara’s brief and difficult, but extraordinary life, she touched many people in different ways.
Samara will be greatly missed and forever cherished by her parents, Corey and Susan; siblings Calvin, Hannah, Joel, and Jenna; grandparents, Jim and Audrey Parres of Thunder Bay, Ont., and Hugh and Cindy White of Atikokan, Ont., great-grandparents, Bert and Lenora Baxter, and great-grandmother, Irene Danielson, all of Atikokan, Ont.; special aunts and uncles, Rachel White, Rob and Dianna White, all of Atikokan, Ont., and John and Pam Bell of Thunder Bay, Ont.; and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
She was predeceased by her grandfather, Mervin Hayes; and great-grandparents Albert and Mamie Ruth.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 23, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Atikokan, with Pastor Ken Stainthorpe officiating.
Internment will take place in the Little Falls Cemetery in Atikokan.
The pallbearers will be Samantha’s Uncle Paul, Uncle Bill, Uncle John, and Uncle Gish.
