It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Pocock announces her sudden passing on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Thunder Bay Regional Hospital.
Mary was born March 14, 1954 to Harold and Gertrude Pocock in Fort Frances.
She later moved to Winnipeg, Man. with her mother and sister Dorothy.
Mary was a free spirit, she loved to travel and did, wherever and whenever she could for work and family. Mary loved all babies, human or animal, and nature.
She married Allen Hadden in 1981.
Mary will be greatly missed by her two sons Christopher and Donavan Hadden of Fort Frances; her three grandsons Chandler and Dakota Medicine of Manitou and Maxim Whittle of Winnipeg; sisters Ellen Lennix of Fort Frances and Dorothy (Kermit) Boman of Calgary; sister-in-law Verna Pocock of Fort Frances; numerous neices, nephews and friends, plus her extended family Val and Johny Baras, all the clan and Peggy and family.
Mary was predeceased by her father and mother Harold and Gertrude Pocock; infant sister Marion; stepfather Stan Stobart; brother Thomas Pocock; and brothers-in-law Ronald MacGregor and William Lennix.
Cremation has taken place as per Mary's wishes. Burial will take place at Kakabeka Falls beside her mother and sister Marion at a later date.
