ISABELLE EMMA JOHNSON

It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Isabelle Emma Johnson, aged 79, of Emo, Ont. on Monday, Aug. 21, 2000 at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont.
Isabelle was born on December 24, 1920 in Emo to Henry and Nellie Harron. Isabelle spent her entire life in Emo.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Alphy Johnson, daughters; Linda (Alex) Wilson of Emo, Ont., Sharilyn (Joe) Georgeson of Fort Frances, Ont., and son David Ball of Barwick, Ont.; grandchildren; Londa (Jon) Judson, Letricia (Greg) Plett, Lynita Wilson, Jana Lentz, Julie (Justin) Taylor and Rob Georgeson. Great-grandchildren; Shannon Wilson, Zachary and Seth Judson, Tyera and Tristen Lentz.
Sister Lillian (Al) Juras of Winnipeg, Man.; sisters-in-law Florence Walker and Gladys (Reinhold) Knodel of Alberta, and Marion Relkoff of California and brother-in-law Gordon (Colleen) Ball of British Columbia. Aunt Isie to many nieces and nephews and special extended family Ging and Edward Cabral, Brenda, Randy, Dan and Bob Cooke, the Kuitunen and Lloyd families.
Isabelle was predeceased by her parents, brother David Harron, and sister Dorothy Ramsdale.
She attended the Off Lake Covenant Church and her faith was very important to her. The congregation was a great support and comfort to her with their many visits, cards and prayers.
Isabelle took great pleasure in tending her flower beds and house plants and loved when anyone brought flowers to her. She was a terrific cook and enjoyed sharing it with family and friends. She spent hours doing many types of crafts, especially doing wood tole with her husband.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren whether it was with a visit, a phone call or the letters and cards they sent to her.
Mom was a very special lady who always put others before herself inspite of her own illness. She always had a kind word and a smile for everyone.
Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 25, 2000 from 7-9 p.m. at Green Funeral Home, Fort Frances.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 26, 2000 at 1 p.m. at Off Lake Covenant Church, RR#2, Emo, Ont., with Pastor Ken Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at the Emo Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Randy Cooke, Gary Ramsdale, Keith Ramsdale, Charlie Corbett, Keith Knodel and Myles Knodel.
