On a night with less than a full schedule of games, How I Set Your Mother made sure to get its full allotment of points.
The top team in the Fort Frances Women’s Volleyball League nabbed its first six-point night in three weeks last night to reach 69 for the season.
That kept the front-runners eight points up on second-place That’s What She Set, who also earned six points to improve to 61 overall.
Bump It Up earned four points last night to pull into a third-place tie with No Diggity (52).
Gillons’, meanwhile, used a six-point outing to solidify its hold on fifth spot (46).
Let’s Talk About Sets (37) moved within one point of Scared Hitless (38) last night while We Could Carry Less was skunked to remain in eighth place (19).
I’d Hit That (18) and Wild Sets (17) are right behind, followed by Rockstars in 11th (eight) and Sloppy Sets in last place (five).
No Diggity, Scared Hitless, I’d Hit That, and Wild Sets all were sidelined last night because the gym at St. Michael’s was unavailable due to Christmas concert preparations.
The games will be made up on Dec. 17 and in the new year.
Fort High again will be the only available venue for league action next Thursday (Dec. 10).
