The Muskie golf team didn't end up making the trip to Sioux Lookout last Thursday for its first event of the NorWOSSA season.
The reason being most of the students had prior commitments, thus not enough were available to make the trip.
Muskie coach Jen Leishman, who also is the principal for Fort High, said that the squad definitely will have enough players for the second NorWOSSA event of the season, which is slated for Thursday, Sept. 26 in Kenora.

Gavin Paull of Fort Frances failed to reach the main race at the WISSOTA 100 at Fergus Falls on Saturday.
He ended up finishing eighth in a last-chance race after placing 19th in a qualifying event Friday night.

It was a winless week last week for former Muskies Hailee Barnard and Alex Spuzak and the rest of the Rainy River Community College Voyageurs women's volleyball team.
The Voyageurs (2-10) were swept in both of their matches, first losing to the host Itasca CC Vikings last Wednesday evening by scores of 25-10, 25-23, and 25-16.
Barnard registered three kills and seven digs in a losing effort while Spuzak had three kills and three digs.
Then on Friday night, RRCC was swept 3-0 by Mesabi Range CTC with set scores of 25-12, 25-23, and 25-7.
Barnard had two kills and five digs in that one while Spuzak didn't play.
The Voyageurs resume action tonight when they head to Hibbing to play the Cardinals at 6:30 p.m.
Then they'll wrap the week up with a pair of home matches, welcoming the Fond du Lac Thunder on Friday at 6:30 p.m. before taking on Vermilion CC at noon on Saturday.
