Marlene Nelson, left, offered Elaine Hughes a finger sandwich during the La Verendrye Hospital Auxiliary’s annual fall tea on Saturday afternoon at the New Beginnings Fellowship here. In addition to bake sales and a penny table, the very popular event featured the presentation of a $22,500 donation from the auxiliary to the Riverside Foundation for Health Care.
