Byron, a three-year-old German Shepherd/Labrador cross, dug for rocks along the shoreline near Seven Oaks yesterday, keeping cool in the hot afternoon sun. However, the town bylaw department is warning dog owners they’re prohibited from bringing their canine friends to the beach area at Pither’s Point until the end of August.
