Merna Major, left, spoke with Mary O’Connor, client services co-ordinator for the Alzheimer Society of Kenora/Rainy River Districts, earlier this morning at one of the information booths set up at the Fort Frances Seniors’ Centre (Sister Kennedy Centre). The event also included several presentations on topics such as fire safety, paramedicine, and the “Age-Friendly Community” project, as well as a free lunch and entertainment.
