Chef Dave Larocque of Little Beaver Snow Park grilled up a large piece of salmon during a cooking demonstration with Chef Achour Cheblaoui of La Flambée at Northwoods Gallery and Gifts yesterday. More than 30 people attended the event, each paying a $10 admission fee that went to “Spirit of Christmas.” Guests also got to taste Chef Larocque’s several seafood dishes, four different wines, and some gourmet coffees and teas, and received a $10 coupon good for Northwoods or Gourmet Outfitters. The seafood was provided by Dory’s Fish Market.
