Warrant Officer Robin Everett spoke with civilian Dwayne Hunking about winter camping at the 116th Independent Field Battery of the Royal Canadian Artillery's training exercise, “Frosty Gunner,” on Saturday afternoon by the Fort Frances Curling Club. The public was welcome to drop by, learn more about enlisting in the army reserves, and watch soldiers practice winter survival skills. Master Bombardier Nathan Cousineau, who is a teacher at St. Michael's School, also was honoured for his 12-plus years of service with the Kenora-based 116th.
