'Lady in Red'

Photo Album:

Fort Frances Museum curator Sherry George affixed the information card to “Lady in Red"—one of the 26 pieces made by local fibre artists that comprise the new "Fibre Arts Festival" exhibit now on display in the small gallery upstairs. The original piece is made with fabric, rhinstones, and lace. Judging for the juried show took place this afternoon, with the exhibit to remain up until the end of March. Meanwhile, "Fibre Content,” a travelling exhibit featuring award-winning textile artwork from across Canada, will be featured on the main floor gallery of the museum starting in early February.
