Hallowe’en safety

Photo Album:

Betty-Anne MacKintosh of Family and Children’s Services and Grace Silander, right, chair of the Rainy River Valley Safety Coalition, visited a Grade 1 class at J.W. Walker School yesterday to show the students the free glow sticks they will be receiving next week to wear around their necks while trick-or-treating to make them visible to motorists. As part of “Project Safe Hallowe’en,” all district students in JK to Grade 6 will receive one glow stick. —Melanie Béchard photo
