Dan McCormick, health services manager for the Rainy River District Social Services Administration Board, recommended to council the Memorial Sports Centre as the site for a new public access defribillator at last night’s meeting at the Civic Centre. The defribillator is one of five donated to the district by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. The foundation’s goal is to have such devices in every community’s arenas and community centres. —Duane Hicks photo
