The Science North “Bluecoats” were back in town yesterday and this time they brought something new and exciting: robots! The “Robots en Route” workshop, hosted by the Fort Frances Public Library Technology Centre, showed the group of kids on hand a basic form of designing, building, and programming robotics using an “ez-robot” builder platform. Each participant was supplied with a robot and a tablet, then after a few instructions from the “Bluecoats,” they learned how to program the robots to walk, dance, play music, take pictures, and even do battle.
