Members of the Kenora-Rainy River Districts Child and Family Services (KRRDCFS) helped “Backpacks for Kids” organizers Ashley Sisco, far left, and Kathy Lampi, far right, of M. Wu Denistry unload backpacks filled with school supplies at the KRRDCFS office yesterday. This year's campaign blew previous years' numbers out of the water as 241 full backpacks were donated by individuals and businesses. The backpacks will be distributed to kids in the district just in time for the school year to begin. Pictured here are Sisco, left, Emma Cole, Kayleen Richert, Cheyenne Calder, Tammy Gagnon and Lampi.
