Sgt. Kevin Allard of the 116th Independent Field Battery, Royal Canadian Artillery Canadian Armed Forces, provided local residents with information about the C3 105 mm Howitzer on Saturday during a demonstration in the parking lot at the Memorial Sports Centre. Although the army reserve is based out of Kenora, its area of responsibility spans from Red Lake to Dryden to Fort Frances, so the demonstration was held in order to be more visible in Rainy River District.
