Have we prayed enough?
In relation to this fast spreading coronavirus, there is a sovereign God that has everything in control.
The question is, what shall we do? Well maybe we should see what the bible says. In Matthew 24;7, Jesus gives us a description of the last days like famines and pestilence which is a contagious or infectious epidemic disease and that is what we are facing now.
Isaiah 26;20 Come my people enter into thy chambers and shut thy doors about thee hide thyself as it were for a little moment until the indignation is over past.
We could apply this to the present situation. God is calling us all to pray, and if you have never prayed start now.
We know that with God all things are possible and that our great God could take away this virus. 1st Timothy 1;7 - For God hath not given us the spirit of fear. I
n the book of Psalms the word trust is mentioned 50 times, encouraging us to trust God and be not afraid. Psalms 46;1 God is our refuge and strength a very present help in trouble. In the midst of this COVI-19,
God has a message for us; He is telling us that Jesus might be coming soon, and the question is, are we ready? When He comes, there will be no time to get ready because his coming will be very sudden.
Have you responded to that wonderful call of salvation? Jesus is calling us to confess and repent of all our sins and have faith in his blood to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
That will give us peace, and we can be ready to meet him.
