Further jams will be held when the Covid-19 emergency is concluded. Watch for announcements at the Post Office and other bulletin boards in town.

The Emo Hospital Auxiliary did hold their annual Shamrock Tea and Bake Sale on Friday, March 13 in the Emo Hospital Cafeteria from 1 - 3 p.m. The event was well attended and everyone had a great time socializing and enjoying the tea. Money raised by the Auxiliary will be used for projects in the hospital. Thanks to everyone who made it out and contributed to the event in any way.

Kingsford Veterinary Services, Spring Producer Meeting which was to be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at the Emo Legion will be postponed until further notice. Dr. Stacey Angus apologizes for the inconvenience.

The Emo Health Centre is suspending walk in clinic for now due to the risk of having a bunch of sick people standing in the hall together or many in waiting room. If you have a cough stay home, it's still likely to be a cold which we can't treat anyway. You can call telehealth 1-866-797-0000 (not 811) or public health 1-807-468-3147 if you aren't sure. If you think you need to be seen call the clinic and they will triage you, people will still need to be seen for other reasons. They encourage elderly and at risk people to stay home. Again they can try to triage by phone whether you should come in. They will renew meds by phone for now and cancel nonessential visits. This will be an evolving thing. They will change up as necessary depending on how things go.
