A Winnipeg driver has been charged with failing to provide a breath sample.
During routine patrol on March 4, Rainy River District OPP officers stopped a 2011 pickup truck on the 500 block of King’s Highway in Fort Frances just after 1:30 a.m.
The 28-year-old driver failed the roadside tests.
He was arrested at the scene and taken to the OPP detachment for breath tests.
He subsequently was charged with failing to provide a breath sample.
The man also was issued a mandatory 90-day driver’s licence suspension and the vehicle was impounded for a minimum of seven days.
He is scheduled to appear in court here April 4.
