A Christmas Eve service will be held Sunday, Dec. 24 at 6 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church on Morrison Crescent (located behind the Copper River Inn).
The annual community Christmas dinner will be held Monday, Dec. 25 from noon-2 p.m. at Knox United Church, with the Fort Frances Choraliers providing some festive songs beginning at 1 p.m. Admission is free and everyone is welcome! Meals on Wheels will be available starting at 11 a.m. but you must call June Caul at 274-2209 no later than today (Dec. 22) to have one delivered.

The annual Boxing Day squash 'A' Open will be held Tuesday, Dec. 26 at the Memorial Sports Centre. The first matches are scheduled for 9 a.m., with the final set for 4 p.m. Spectators welcome.

The 38th-annual “Freeze Yer Gizzard Blizzard" 5K and 10K races will be held Saturday, Jan. 20 in conjunction with "Icebox Days” festivities in International Falls.
