In Thunder Bay, Caribou Coach offers connections via Highway 11 to Nipigon, Geraldton, Longlac, Hearst, Kapuskasing, Cochrane, New Liskeard, Kirkland Lake, and North Bay.

Travellers also can connect to the Greyhound bus service for destinations not serviced by Caribou, such as Winnipeg or Sault Ste. Marie.

“We’re trying to streamline the service and offer better connections for the folks travelling onward past Thunder Bay,” said Lori Smith, manager of business development at Caribou Coach.

“The rates are still staying the same,” she added.

“We’re trying to offer people more options when they travel, so they don’t have to stop in Thunder Bay and they can keep on going,” Smith explained.

“Greyhound just modified their schedule, so we’re trying to stay in line with them,” she noted.

“We don’t want folks to be stranded here overnight if they needn’t be.”
