REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

FOR

THE LOCALIZED OFFICE RENOVATION

DESIGN WORKS WITHIN THE

FORT FRANCES CIVIC CENTRE

R.F.P. NO. 2020-AF-10

The Town of Fort Frances wishes to obtain proposals from

reputable building design fi rms offering professional services

to design an interior offi ce renovation to create additional offi ce

spaces, a conference room, general storage, accessible workplace

and public space, and to provide adequate servicing to the

renovated area.

The Town of Fort Frances is also looking for the building design

fi rm to prepare design for the restroom facilities within the Fort

Frances Civic Centre which will provide compliance with the

Ontario Building Code and the Accessibility for Ontarians with

Disabilities Act (AODA).

Sealed proposals, in quadruplicate and clearly marked shall be

submitted to:

Tuesday, August 4th 2020 AT 2:00P.M. (CDT)

Proposals will be opened publicly immediately thereafter in the

Committee Room of the Civic Centre. If the Civic Centre remains

closed due to COVID-19, proposals will be opened through virtual

and teleconference means by calling 1-807-701-5975, Conference

Information and documents relating to this Request for Proposal,

are available at the Information Desk, Fort Frances Civic Centre,

320 Portage Avenue, Fort Frances, Ontario P9A 3P9, 807-274-5323.

If the Civic Centre remains closed due to COVID-19 information

and documents may be obtained electronically or through mail

by contacting Cody Vangel.

The lowest or any proposal will not necessarily be accepted. The

Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive

irregularities and informalities therein, and to award the Contract

in the best interest of the Town in its sole and unfettered discretion.

The accepted proposal must be approved by Council.
