COVID spread easing in the NWHU

The Northwestern Health Unit (NWHU), reported no new cases for the region on Tuesday.

COVID-19 active case numbers have dropped significantly since last week. There are currently 14 active cases, with 12 in the Rainy River District, two in the Kenora region. Since March, there have been a total of 234 confirmed cases in the region and four probable.

No new cases, but regional numbers still high

 

The Northwestern Health Unit (NWHU) announced on Tuesday that there are no new cases to report but numbers are still high with 44 active cases in the region.

There are two in the Dryden/ Red Lake area, 50 in the Kenora region and 27 in the Rainy River District. Since March, there have been a total of 223 confirmed cases in the region and four probable.

Birch Bark Yarns is hosting their "Sweater Weather knit-a-long". The virtual knit-a-long will run from January to March 31, 2021.  For each sweater completed during this time, the person who made the sweater will be entered into a draw.
