Renovations to public bathroom and entranceway to the Fort Frances Museum are underway. Starting last week, Ed Halvorsen Construction is converting the two existing bathrooms located just inside the front entrance into one universal, barrier-free bathroom, among other accessibility-related renovations. The job will be done before the end of March.

Evan Wright of the Causeway Cougars fired a shot on Fort Frances Rainy Lake Attack goalie Ashytn Thomson during his team's 3-1 win in Sunday's final of the Fort Frances Minor Hockey Association's annual Atom 'A' tournament. Wright scored twice to lead the Cougars to the gold medal, who won all six of their games over the weekend.
