Fort Frances Public Library Technology Centre CEO Caroline Goulding checked out the thyme, sage, and lavender plants there yesterday morning. The plants are being grown with seeds from the “seed library,” a free seasonal exchange program in which residents can access and/or donate properly-cured seeds.

Josh Mastin of Team USA went up to put one home during his squad's 101-75 romp over Team Canada during the Fort Frances Men's Basketball League's inaugural all-star game last Tuesday night at the Fort High gym. Mastin scored 37 points to help pace his squad's offence.

Evan Kabel of the Toe Dragons blasted a shot on the Can-Am Selects' net during his squad's 4-3 overtime win in PeeWee division's gold-medal game Sunday afternoon at “The Duke” (Couchiching Arena). Kabel notched a goal in that one to help the cause.
