Robert Norman Crawford, 62, of Fort Frances, Ont. passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2019 at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances.
Bob was born on Sept. 30, 1957 in Powassan, Ont. to the late Cye and Ina Crawford.
He attended the Algoma Highlands School as a young man. Bob drove truck all over Canada before settling in Fort Frances in 2005.
While here, he worked for various trucking companies including Hiekki Lampi, Mel DeGagne, Witherspoons and Claude Jodoin. He ran the Kitchen Table Restaurant for two years.
Bob enjoyed attending stock car races, old car shows and tinkering with project vehicles.
He leaves behind his common-law spouse, Joan Ronmark; her children, Michelle Ronmark (Leonard Pittman), Richard Ronmark (Kalan) and Sandra Gamie (Brian); grandchildren, Tatum, Hayden and Mason; son, John Crawford; brothers, John Crawford (Selene) and Jason Holtorster, and their families.
Bob was predeceased by his parents, Cye and Ina; and grandsons, Brandon Ronmark and Matthew Gamie.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019 from 1-3 p.m. at La Place Rendez-Vous in Fort Frances.
