PRISCILLA KAY BALLARD (FEDORAK)

Ballard, Priscilla

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Priscilla Kay Ballard (Fedorak), with her children and sister by her side, on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016 at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre in Thunder Bay, Ont.
She born Aug. 4, 1967 to Zorro and Carolyn Fedorak.
She lived in Fort Frances, Ont. most her life, where most of her friends knew her as a hard-working waitress and loving mother.
She had a passion for music in her life and always had a good tune blaring, especially when she was getting ready to go out on the town.
Priscilla also lived in Atikokan, Ont. for many years of her life, and most recently worked at the old Atikokan hotel. She made many friends in Atikokan, and always had a big smile to greet her customers and fellow staff every day.
She was a giver. She gave to those who needed even if she was without herself. She also loved animals and always took in stray cats from the dump or any animal that was lucky enough to make it to her doorstep.
She loved life and just enjoying it with the company of friends and family around her.
One of Priscilla’s most valuable accomplishments was her five children. She was one to go without so her children could have more than they needed, whether it was another new top for the girls or new duvet for Tana.
She always made sure her children had money in their pockets.
Priscilla was predeceased by her sister, Crystal Fedorak; cousin, Susan Fedorak; and father, Zorro Fedorak.
Priscilla leaves behind her sons, Joseph Fedorak and Logan Ballard; daughters, Tana Ballard, Taylor Steele, and Chandlor Steele; granddaughter, Sarah Fedorak; and her loving dogs, Ava and Jane.
She also is survived by her grandmother, Lela Ballard; mother, Carolyn Fedorak; sister, Petrina Carlson; and niece, Chelsea Carlson.
A celebration of Priscilla’s life will be held Friday, Sept. 9, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, with Pastor Sean Ward officiating.
Luncheon to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion in Fort Frances.
The honourary pallbearers will be Calvin Morrisseau, Galen Lemieux, Patrick Lemieux, Jordan Marsh, Joe Johnson, Brian Lethbridge, Brittney Smith, and Peggy Atatise.
If friends so desire, in memoriam donations may be made to the Tamarack House, 984 Oliver Rd., Thunder Bay, Ont., P7B 7C7.
