It is with great sadness that the family of Marion Humphrey announces her passing on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017 at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont.
Marion was born on Sept. 6, 1932 in Devlin, Ont. to Murdoch and Libby McKay.

She was a member of the Red Hat Society and an avid quilter. She also used to enjoy her curling bonspiels with the MNR girls and loved to bake. She always had a variety of sweets on hand for everyone's “sweet tooth.”
Marion was predeceased by her parents, Murdoch and Libby; husband, Melvin, on Oct. 18, 2002; and siblings, Kenny, Bill, Frazer, Norman, Peg, Kate, Jim, and Alan.
She leaves behind her sons, Kirk (Donna) of Hinton, Alta. and Kim of Fort Frances, Ont.; daughter, Shari (Pete) of Fort Frances, Ont.; grandchildren, April Matheson, and Dylan (Ariel) and Alexandra Humphrey; and great-granddaughter, Melody.
She also is survived by her sisters, Marie Lawres and Loretta Ivanowich; brothers, Wayne (Doreen) McKay and Dale McKay; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
