LYNNE JOHNSON

With sorrow, her family announces the death of Lynne Johnson, 65, who passed away suddenly at her home in Beaverlodge, Alta. on Dec. 19, 2005.
Lynne was born in Barwick, Ont., on Aug. 7, 1940 to Ben and Lila Hadley and attended Barwick Consolidated School.
In 1956, she married Richard Johnson and after living in Atikokan, Ont. for several years, they moved to British Columbia in the late ’70s and finally settled in Alberta after Dick’s retirement.
Lynne is survived by her loving husband, Dick; children, Glenn (Laurie) Johnson and Lisa (Jeff) James, both of Topley, B.C. Allan (Leah) Johnson of Grand Prairie, Alta., and Rhonda (Bill Fowler) of Fort Frances, Ont.; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are her siblings, Bruce (Karen) Hadley of Warfield, B.C., Phyllis (Charles) Kivari of Thunder Bay, Ont., Dell Nickel of Dryden, Ont., June (Lyle) Wheatley and Rilla (Bert) Race, both of Barwick, Ont., and Glenda (Al Carter) Hadley of Atikokan, Ont.
She was predeceased by her parents, Lila in 1984 and Ben in 2000; and brother, Grand Hadley, in 2002.
A memorial service was held in Beaverlodge on Dec. 23, 2005.
