LOUISE MARY ANNE JIM

Louise Mary Anne Jim, 61, of Seine River First Nation, Ont., passed away at her residence Wednesday, March 17, 1999. She was born April 23, 1937 at Seine River First Nation to the late Ben and Madeline Johnson.

Louise loved the outdoors, and enjoyed crocheting blankets. She always kept herself busy working as a caregiver and at the store. She was a strong-willed and independent woman who was always helping people ever since she was a little girl helping her parents.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.

She was united in marriage to George Jim, who survives along with three daughters, Bernice, Marion, and Angelina Medicine and husband, Tim; and two sons, Rex and wife, Debra, and Garrett.

Also surviving are six grandchildren, Christopher Cupp, Michelle Mason, Elyssia Jim, Timothy Jim, Brandon Jim, and Summer Jim; three sisters, Margaret Kabatay, Agnes Spencer and husband, George, and Virginia Kabatay and husband, Ben; and one brother, Jack Johnson and wife, Carol.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 20, 1999 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church at Couchiching First Nation. Father Ed Kosa O.M.I. officiated, with interment in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery at Couchiching First Nation.

Friends visited with the family on Friday, March 19 from 3 until 9 p.m. at Green Funeral Home. Parish prayers were offered at 7:30 p.m. at Green Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were friends of the family.
