Larry K. Nordeen, 59, of Duluth, Mn., passed away unexpectedly Friday July 10, 1998 while at St. Mary’s Medical Center.
He was born in Two Harbors, Mn., and raised in the West Duluth and Hermantown areas. He graduated from Hermantown High School in 1956.
Larry also lived in Fort Frances, Ont. for several years before returning to Duluth. He was a self-employed carpenter both in Ontario and Duluth.
Larry enjoyed the outdoors, and was an avid curler.
Larry was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Myrtle Nordeen.
He is survived by his children, Cathy (Joe) DeVito of Pasadena, Calif., Scott (Deanna) of Hermantown, Terri (Tom) Johnson of Duluth, and Alana Calder of Fort Frances; sisters, Carol Lillyroth Watczak of Duluth, and Marcy (Tom) Bennett of Shoreview, Mn.; grandchildren, Josh, Sam, Nic, and Leo; three nieces; two nephews; and several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held July 14, 1998 in Duluth, Mn.
