Jim Miller, our loving husband and father, passed away Monday, May 8, 2000 at M.S.A. Hospital in Abbotsford, B.C.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, and son, Jim; brothers, Bob and Stuart; sister, Nora Campbell; grandchildren, Scott, Susan, and Lauren; and three great-grandchildren.
Jim grew up in Kenora, Ont. and served in the R.C.A.F. during World War II. He also was a Canadian amateur light-heavyweight boxing champion, an oarsman on the winning team at the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta, and was inducted into the Northwestern Ontario Sports Hall of Fame.
Jim was a police officer in Kenora, Rainy River, and Fort Frances, Ont. from 1946-65. He later worked for the T. Eaton Co. in Vancouver, B.C. until his retirement.
He is dearly loved and missed, and will always be remembered by family and friends.
A private family gathering was planned.
