It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Hillary Johnson, 32, of Seine River First Nation, Ont., on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018 at the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital in Thunder Bay, Ont.
She raised two beautiful children, her son, Kasey Singleton, and daughter, Halle Johnson.
Hillary loved spending her time with her children whom she cherished so much. She also loved doing beadwork, cooking, going to pow-wows, and listening to music.
She will be greatly missed by her mother, Natalie Johnson; father, Terry Friday; and siblings, Wendell Johnson, Kyle Johnson (niece, Kasmira), and Nicole Johnson (nephew, Greyson).
She also is survived by her grandma, Carol Johnson; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her grandpas, Jack Johnson and Buddy Friday, and her grandma, Jessie Friday.
The wake was held on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018 at 3 p.m. at the Seine River First Nation gymnasium.
A traditional funeral service was held on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the Seine River First Nation gymnasium.
The pallbearers were Ron Friday, Kyle Johnson, Charles Friday, Adrian Perrault, Ken Kabatay, Vernon Menson, Jerry Johnson, and Jackson Bird.
