It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Eleanor Kuchma, 87, wife of the late Don Kuchma, on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019 at her home, Rainycrest, with family by her side.

Eleanor was born on July 11, 1931 to Prosper and Georgina Davidson of Fort Frances, Ont.

She will be greatly missed by her six children, Diane (Ron) Grabowski, Penny (Garry) Audette, and Kathy (Gilles) Bois, all of Fort Frances, Ont., Wendy (Rod) Woodgate of Devlin, Ont., Richard (Cheryl) Kuchma of Toronto, Ont., and Kevin (Shannon) Kuchma of Emo, Ont.

She also is survived by 12 grandchildren, Chad and Dean Grabowski, Travis, Eric, and Danelle Bois, Amber Audette, Alex Kuchma and Amanda Steele, Ronan and Reece Kuchma, David Woodgate, and Joanne Swire; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; sister, Theresa (Leo) Eberts of Wynward, Sask.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Eleanor was predeceased by her parents, Prosper and Georgina Davidson; husband, Donald; brothers, Clarence, Fred, and Leonard Davidson; sisters, Delia Carpenter, Isabel Nilson, Nella Baker, Helen Davidson, and Verna LaBelle; and granddaughter, Christa Kuchma.

She cooked at the Husky for many years; after it closed she took up babysitting. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She did a lot of knitting and playing cards. She also enjoyed trips to the casinos with her husband and children.

She was a member of the La Verendrye Hospital Auxiliary and did a lot of knitting for them. She also was a life-time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies' Auxiliary.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, Jan. 28, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, with Fr.Alan Albao officiating.

Cremation has taken place.

The honourary pallbearers will be all of her grandchildren.
