It is with great sadness that the family of Elaine Martha Kiddle announces her passing, surrounded by family, on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2019 at the Rainycrest Long-Term Care Home in Fort Frances, Ont.

She was born on Aug. 7, 1931 to Ewart and Hazel Wilson in Fort Frances. She lived here all of her life.

Elaine was united in marriage to the late Charles Arthur White and together they raised six children.

Elaine's first job was at the TD Bank. Then once the children were older, she began working as an orderly at Rainycrest. She loved her job at Rainycrest and enjoyed her time with the residents and staff.

Elaine had a very deep faith in Jesus Christ. She was pianist for 53 years at the Pentecostal Church and shared her faith with her children and grandchildren as it was reflected in her everyday life. She also shared her great sense of humour with those she came in touch with.

She was blessed to find companionship with Tom Kiddle after the death of her first husband. They enjoyed many years together.

Elaine was predeceased by her parents, Ewart and Hazel; first husband, “Art,” second husband, Tom; son, Blaine White; and sister, Velda.

She leaves behind her children, Cindy (Dale), Doug, Randy (Diane), Kelly (Dan), and Barb (Warren); daughter-in-law, Beth; grandchildren, Mandy, Jennifer, Brianne, Tyler, Dana, Brian, Josh, Laura-Dawn, Faith, Myles, and Macey; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She also is survived by her brother, Harris (Marlene); sister, Laura; sister-in-law, Enid (Willard); brother-in-law, Ken (JoAnn); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the New Beginnings Fellowship Church in Fort Frances, with Pastor Marcel Chenier officiating.

Cremation has taken place and interment will take place in the Barwick Cemetery at a later date.

If friends so desire, in memoriam donations may be made to the Rainycrest Auxiliary or the New Beginnings Fellowship Church c/o Green Funeral Home, P.O. Box 427, Fort Frances, Ont., P9A 3M8.
