Eileen Fay Neal, nee Lamont, passed away suddenly Sept. 7, 1997 in Nanaimo, B.C.
Eileen is survived by her daughters, Susan and Nancy; son-in-law, Howard; grandsons, Travis, Tyler, and Daniel; sister, Jessie; brothers, Ken and Robert; mother-in-law, Alice; sister-in-law, Dorothy; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ernest, on Dec. 11, 1994.
Eileen was born March 30, 1928 in Owen Sound, Ont. and lived in Fort Frances, Ont. until 1975, when she and Ernie moved to Vancouver, B.C. They retired to Qualicum Beach in 1988.
Eileen was an active member of Hospice as well as the local gardening and travel clubs. She loved her family, friends, and her special companions, Toby and Mitzie. Eileen also took great pleasure in her new home and neighbours in Chartwell, and she loved her time spent in the garden.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, Sept. 11, 1997 at 1 p.m. at St. Columba Presbyterian Church in French Creek.
