DONNA (GOULIQUER) HANEY

Haney, Donna

With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, mama, and sister, Donna Gail Haney, age 70, at La Verendrye Hospital on Saturday, Nov. 2 2019 with her loving family at her side..
Donna was born in Rainy River on Dec. 4, 1948, the fourth of 12 children to Art and Madeline Gouliquer of Atikokan, Ont.
Donna lived her life the way she wanted with love and compassion for the Salvation Army. Her dream happened the day she became a Soldier on April 22, 2018 and was called into glory. Her faith carried through each day.
Donna’s children and grandchildren were her life and she was so proud of each and every one. Donna’s heart was full when she was surrounded by them all.
Her love of the Christmas campaign, the food bank, and her customers at Salvation Army filled her life with joy.
Donna is survived by her son, Raymond (Vivi) of Winnipeg; and daughter, Tammy (Dennis Gagnon), of Fort Frances.
Also surviving her are the loves of her life, grandchildren Tylor, Nicole, Rodney, Jacob, Mikka, Kaz, Quinn and Eric.
She is also survived by her siblings, Marie (Frank Komaranski) Reg Gouliquer (MaryAnne), Doreen (Bob Conlon), Ken Gouliquer (Bonnie), Elmer Gouliquer (Myrna), Melvin Gouliquer (Kim), Colin Gouliquer (Patty), and Colleen Gouliquer (friend Larry), and many nieces and nephews whom she had a special place in her heart.
She will be also missed by her very special friends Jill Pernsky and John and Josephine Walraad.
Donna was predeceased by her husband, Phillip, and son, Rodney Squire; father and mother, Art and Madeline Gouliquer; sister, Maxine Wilson; and brothers, Garry and Greg Gouliquer.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 9 at 1 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances.
In lieu of flowers donations would be greatly appreciated to Salvation Army Food Bank Fort Frances.
