DeLoris Camirand, 84, of Fort Frances, Ont., passed away peacefully on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018 at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances.

She is survived by her sons, Randy and Todd Scott of Lethbridge, Alta., Wade (Denise) Scott of Toronto, Ont., Raymond (Laurie) Scott, Jerry Scott, and Dan (Tracy) Scott of Fort Frances, Ont.; daughter, Gail (James) Fletcher of Dryden, Ont.; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was an active bowler, member of the Fort Frances Legion Br. # 29, and the Catholic Women's League of Fort Frances.

She will be remembered for her love of knitting, years of selling Avon, frequent set-up at the farmers' market, where she sold homemade items, volunteer activity in the community, and generous donations to the Fort Frances Public Library, La Verendrye Hospital, and Madonna House Lay Apostolate of Combermere, Ont.

DeLoris was predeceased by her husband, Gaston Camirand; father, Walter Ek; mother, Inez Miller; and infant sister, Joanne Ruth Ek.

No funeral services will be held at this time.

A graveside interment will be planned for the spring of 2019.
