It is with profound grief that the family of Clayton Bob announces his passing on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Ojibway of Onigaming First Nation.
Clayton was born on March 7, 1977 in Fort Frances, Ont. to Robert Bob and Pauline Big George.
He was an outgoing and friendly person, willing to help out his friends, family and neighbours.
He worked at odd jobs, willing to take on any task. He enjoyed going to pow-wows and drawing eagles.
Clayton was very family orientated, doting on his three children, and spending time with his sisters and their families. Uncle Clayton was always available to spend time with his nieces and nephews.
He leaves behind his father, Robert Bob; children, TayJay Bob, Tayvin Bob and Taytum Bob; sisters, Shelia (Dave) Carney, Sachena Bob (Don Cambly), Salena Bob-Kelly (Patrick Scott Kelly) and Shantaya Paul; grandmother, Bessie Tom; uncle, James Bob; and aunt, Roseann Cowley; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Clayton was predeceased by his mother, Pauline Big George; sisters, Laura Prince and Seyla Bob; nieces, Arizona Bob, Shania Bob and Sacha Bob; and stepmother, Bernice Bob; as well as numerous aunts and uncles.
A traditional wake will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 3 p.m. at the Big Grassy First Nation Hall. Elder Ron Indian-Mandamin will officiate at a traditional service on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Big Grassy First Nation Hall. Interment will take place in the Big Island First Nation Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be Scott Kelly, Jayden Bob, Brian Hook, Marcus Hunter, Adrian Indian and Andrew Letander.
The honourary pallbearers will be Mitchell Rundle and Gabriel Bob-Kelly.
