Brenda Louise Parsons, born March 28, 1944 to Charles and Agnes Hill, died July 3, 2019 (aged 75 years) in Vancouver, B.C.
Brenda attended Fort Frances High School. She completed a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Manitoba after obtaining her qualifications for teaching. She went to France and worked as an au pair before travelling and then teaching elementary school in Scarborough, Ont.
Brenda married Jonathan Parsons in August 1969. This year was their 50th wedding anniversary.
Brenda and Jonathan moved to the West Coast where she worked as an employment counselor until her retirement.
Brenda loved reading, walking, good pie, nature, and picking berries.
She made annual trips to Devlin, Ont. and Victoria, B.C.
Brenda is deeply missed by her husband, Jonathan, and two daughters, Hannah (Thael) and Cecelia (Joe), and five grandchildren, Claudia, Esme, Margaret, Lucy and Jeremy; siblings, Albert (Jean), Patricia (Bill), and Ralph; cousins, nieces, and nephews, and Judy.
Brenda was predeceased by her parents and brother, Stephen.
A memorial will be held at a later date.
