Vendors and crafters are reminded to book your table early for “Holly Daze” at the Emo-La Vallee Arena.
“Shopping Craze" will take place upstairs at the arena this Saturday (Dec. 2) from 1-3:30 p.m. in conjunction with "Holly Daze” festivities in Emo.

The cost per table is $15.
Meanwhile, those interested in putting a float in the parade on Friday evening also should contact the municipal office as soon as possible.
Please meet at the municipal garage at 5:30 p.m., with the parade beginning at 6 p.m. (check the “Holly Daze” section elsewhere in today's Times for the parade route).
During the parade, the Emo rec council will be serving hot chocolate and cookies. So bundle up and plan on attending!

A reminder the Emo & District Hospital Auxiliary will be collecting non-perishable food donations during the Santa Claus parade this Friday (Dec. 1).
If you are unable to attend the parade, you can drop off donations at the Hair and Body Shoppe in Emo during “Holly Daze.”

And don't forget to stop in at “Crafts Galore" at the Emo Legion during "Holly Daze,” which runs from 9:30-4 p.m. on Friday and from 9:30-3 p.m. on Saturday.
Drop by for a soup-and-sandwich lunch while checking out all the great crafts.

Following Friday's parade, there will be the official lighting of the Emo Christmas tree. Then don't miss the fireworks, which will take place on the Front Street riverbank right afterwards.
The fireworks are courtesy of New Gold, the Municipality of Emo, and the Emo Chamber of Commerce.

The Church of the Holy Spirit in Fort Frances will be holding its annual Christmas tea and bake sale this Saturday (Dec. 2) from 1-3 p.m.
Set-up and sandwich-making will be held Friday (Dec. 1) at 1 p.m., with donations for the bake table greatly appreciated.
Be sure to mark the date on your calendar and plan to attend.
