Next 'Country Jam' goes Friday

Category:

If you haven't been to one before, this month's “Country Jam” at the Emo Legion just may prove to be the best in a while.

New musicians will be on hand, former musicians are returning, and young performers will be making another appearance.

If you like to dance, or just sit and listen to old-time country music, then mark this Friday (March 24) on your calendar.

For only $2, you can enjoy a wonderful evening of music, visiting with friends, dancing, and some adult-type beverages from the bar.

The kitchen crew also will serve up a snack if you bring some cash.

The music begins around 7 p.m. See you there!

Meanwhile, tickets for this grocery draw are selling quickly. First prize is $5,200—that's an amazing $100 a week for 52 weeks (basically, a whole year of free groceries)!

Second prize is $500 worth of groceries while third prize is a $100 grocery coupon.

The other half of the beef bonus will be drawn during Spring Fever Days in Emo next month.

Get your tickets from Cloverleaf, any Lions Club member, or at designated locations around the district.

Proceeds will go towards Lions' projects, including the completion of the observation deck in the west end of Emo, and to the Emo food bank.

Support the Emo and District Lions and purchase your chance on these fantastic prizes in the coming weeks. Tickets cost only $10 each.
