‘Stuff-a-Cruiser’ donation

Photo Album:

Karen Haney, second from left, and Brenda Haney, right, handed over a donation of non-perishable food items to paramedics Chad Buist and Kyley Engstrom outside of Safeway during the annual “Stuff-a-Cruiser” campaign Saturday. Hosted by the OPP, Treaty #3 Police Service, and CN Police, along with assistance from the Rainy River District Emergency Medical Services and Iron Range Bus Lines, officers and volunteers also were located outside of The Place, Wal-Mart, Cloverleaf (Emo), and Beaver Mills Market (Rainy River). Together, the community stuffed 30 cruisers in Fort Frances, seven cruisers in Emo, and three cruisers in Rainy River to support the Sunset Métis, United Native Friendship Centre, the Salvation Army, Emo Food Bank, Fort Frances Volunteer Bureau, and the Rainy River West End Food Bank.
