TBayTel launches IT services

TBayTel is pleased to be the first single-source provider in Northern Ontario to offer small- and medium-sized business customers managed information technology services.

The delivery model is like nothing currently being offered.

TBayTel’s new Direct IT-Managed IT Services was launched last Thursday in Thunder Bay.

The utilization of Direct IT’s world-class technology and services will assist

businesses in maximizing their IT investment by increasing efficiencies and

protecting their information assets.

Direct IT incorporates solutions such as security, online disc to disc back-up, hosted applications, and network monitoring and installation.

To ensure the distinctive requirements of each customer are met, TBayTel’s Direct IT team performs a complete business analysis to identify the need for hardware, software, and services.

“Dependable and secure technology is integral for operating a business in

today’s global economy,” said Peter Diedrich, president and CEO of TBayTel.

“TBayTel has made it a priority to ensure our customers experience industry-leading service by using next-generation technologies.

“Direct IT, TBayTel’s managed information technology service, will improve the productivity of businesses throughout Northern Ontario,” he added.

“Direct IT’s menu of services is geared for both small businesses with a few

desktops to medium-sized enterprises with complex communications networking and security requirements,” echoed Angela Domansky Desserre, vice-president, Direct IT-Managed IT Services.

“The combination of our live help desk, and a remote monitoring and management platform, results in a proactive IT service that delivers less downtime and fewer on-site calls,” she remarked.
