Creating car

Creating car

Hanna LeDrew, left, and Ellie Petsnick, Grade 8 students at J.W. Walker School, worked together to build a balloon-powered car yesterday as part of the “A World In Motion” program, which brings science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to life right in the classroom. Offered in partnership by the Seven Generations Education Institute, Stacey Marmara, an automotive engineer with General Motors in Oshawa, was on hand to assist the students.
