Victims ID’d

The two victims of a fatal motor-vehicle collision Sunday morning on Highway 17 near Dryden have been identified.
Police said a westbound Mustang convertible collided with an eastbound tractor-trailer unit around 6 a.m. in Mutrie Township.

The driver of the Mustang, Adrian Chapados, 37, of Saskatchewan, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The passenger, Frisco McRae, 18, of Quebec, was transported to hospital by ambulance, but succumbed to his injuries there.
The occupants of the tractor-trailer unit were uninjured.
The highway was closed for about six hours.
No charges have been laid.
