Rainycrest luncheon cancelled

Due to the current visitor restriction at Rainycrest, the annual Mother’s Day luncheon—set for Sunday at Hallett Hall—has been cancelled.
Those who had purchased meal tickets for this event are entitled to a full refund.

The restriction continues as a result of the ongoing gastroenteritis outbreak at the Rainycrest.
Family members also are asked to restrict their visit to the resident’s room and refrain from visiting other residents while at Rainycrest.
All group programming by Activation, as well as all catering and guest meals, also are cancelled until further notice as part of efforts to prevent the further spread of illness.
We apologize for any inconveniences to our residents and their families that our efforts to manage this outbreak may cause.
Do not visit if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms: cough, fever, runny nose, sore throat, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.
Remember that the best way to stop the spread of infectious diseases is to wash your hands frequently.
Use the hand sanitizers provided at the entrance when you enter and exit.
If you have any questions or concerns, contact Kayla Caul-Chartier at 274-3261 ext. 2625 or Jodi Jewell, infection control nurse, at 274-4835.
