It’s that time of year again when we start preparing for our annual Community Christmas Dinner, with a committee meeting slated this Wednesday (Nov. 28) at 2 p.m. at the old CN station.
We encourage anyone wishing to attend and assist in this planning to please join us.
Knox United Church has agreed to hold the Community Christmas Dinner again this year. And once again, we are open to suggestions for entertainment after the dinner so people will stay a little longer and we can all enjoy the afternoon together!
If anyone has any ideas concerning afternoon entertainment, please attend Wednesday’s meeting or call 274-9555.
Once again, as always, we’re counting on our community’s generosity and volunteerism as your time and/or food donations determine the success of this dinner!
Should you wish to make a donation towards the dinner, even at this early date, drop in to the Fort Frances Volunteer Bureau at the old CN station, or call us with the type of volunteer work you’d like to do.
We’ll be talking about the dinner and what may still be needed in terms of food and volunteers as the time gets nearer to Christmas.
But in the meantime, if you wish to get involved at the planning stage, please come to the meeting this Wednesday!
