Muskie hockey playoffs altered

There was some last-minute shuffling when it came to the Muskie hockey teams’ appearance in the NorWOSSA finals.
Both squads now will head on the road Sunday with the possibility for both of claiming their respective league crowns.

The Muskie boys still will play Game 1 of their best-of-three showdown against the Kenora Broncos tonight at 7:15 p.m. at the Ice For Kids Arena.
But Game 2, originally slated for tomorrow night in Kenora, has been shifted to Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
Game 3, if necessary, will be back here Monday at 7:15 p.m.
The Muskie girls, meanwhile, will kick off their best-of-three final against Dryden on Saturday at 7:15 p.m. at the IFK Arena.
The Eagles dispatched the Rams with a 4-2 win Tuesday night in Red Lake to sweep their semi-final series.
But instead of Game 2 being held Monday in Dryden, Fort High now will head there Sunday for a 3:30 p.m. match-up.
Game 3, if necessary, will be back here Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.
