NDP Border Critic Brian Masse (Windsor West) will be in Rainy River and Fort Frances tomorrow (March 1) to listen to local concerns over the sale of the bridge that links Fort Frances to International Falls, Mn.
“Northern Ontarians are already facing interminable wait times for passports,” said Masse. “Now the residents of Fort Frances could also face higher tolls to get to the U.S.
“I’m looking forward to hearing how the NDP can help close the prosperity gap in Northwestern Ontario and ensure fairness for all Northern Ontarians,” he added.
Thunder Bay-Rainy River NDP candidate John Rafferty will co-host the public forum with Masse.
The one in Rainy River will be held at 3 p.m. at the Legion Hall while the one in Fort Frances is slated for 7 p.m. at La Place Rendez-Vous.
